Nation of Language Announce New Album Strange Disciple, Share New Songs: Listen

Check out “Weak in Your Light” and “Sole Obsession.” The group will appear at this year’s Pitchfork Music Festival.

Nation of Language have announced that their new album, Strange Disciple, is coming out September 15 via PIAS. The follow-up to 2021’s A Way Forward is their first that wasn’t recorded during the pandemic. It was produced by Nick Millhiser (of Holy Ghost!). Check out two songs from the album, “Weak in Your Light” and “Sole Obsession,” below.

This year, behind the album, Nation of Language have lined up a massive tour. It includes their July 21 set at Pitchfork Music Festival, which takes place once again at Chicago’s Union Park. Tickets are available now. Find their full itinerary below.
