Firstly, apologies for the lack of news from us girls, but we are back and better than ever. Jen dragged herself away from New York to come back to the show. Sarah's stomach has gotten massive and so has producer Dave's ego.

We are still Firebrands number ONE request show, with a steady stream of loyal listeners and hopefully soon to be picking up more as we go along.

This week will be somthing a little special on Countdown. Co-host Jenny will be stepping up into the big chair and regular host Sarah becomes the co-host for a change.

Expect the unexpected as Jenny will get to play anything she wants to play. If this is a success then this may even become a semi-regular event giving Sarah the chance to have a week off once in a while.

Well its here and by gosh did it come round fast, no I'm not talking about the bum whooping figures we got for last weeks show (sorry aural pleasure we kicked yo ass) it's new years eve.

A time to start over and make resolutions that we can't keep. The only reason I always resolve to quit drinking on new years is I wake up with the hangover from hell on new years day normally.

The jenny is absent from this nights show and I have been poorly all week so this weeks show is going to be mostly music playing as I can't talk to much (hurrah I hear you all shout).

I have chosen some very laid back tracks to play and hope you all bare with me. So apart from being in bed for two days and having the worst grump on you can imagine I'm still left wondering what Xes is going to be doing later????

Well another show and after a very slow start we welcomed back our listeners with more cheese and a little christmas cheer to :-). Our guest this week was none only then big ad Jens other and may I say better half (owww Jen don't punch me when I'm typing) I must say he was the quietest guest we have had! It's no surprise really seeing how the poor bloke is stuck listening to me and Jenny most of the time!

I hope you have all done your Christmas shopping and the one thing that we want for Christmas is more listeners so come on guys and gals help us beat the aural pleasure boys once and for all!

So this weeks show was brought to you in utter chaos and panic. Where was our guest where was my co host ahhhhhh! Luckily for me Jenny pulled herself away from her husband and football then hotfooted it to the studio!

After we had forced Ginger to make the tea and choose a few random tunes we setted into what was a fantastc night. This weeks guest came in the form of the lovely Steven Gill who was very brave considering he was sat next to us two crackpots! The chat room was BIG Literally as everyones nickname had to start we something massive, we had big momma big brownie big sis and BIG Nige. Also tuned in was Jennys better half under the guise of Big AD.

Don't forget that next week we are in to December and Father Christmas is coming to empty his sack, so I hope you have all been good boys and girls listening to our show. Thanks for listening and lots of hugs.

So Wednesday saw all you lovely people tuned in to listen to Jenny's first time on Countdown to the Weekend. Everything started off nice and fluffy, that is until Jenny declared war on Aural Pleasure.

Will Countdown to the Weekend succeed in stealing listeners from the boys or will Kevin kepp his promise of cutting the stream when the girls are on air. Only one way to find out and that is to tune in and listen.

Those of you who tuned in last week will remember that Jenny couldn't make it because she had laryngitis but she is all better now and raring to go.

So it wasn't as hideous and scary as I was worried it might be. Underpants remain unstained though the sweat patches under the arms tell a different story.

Apart from the expected slating from the Aural Pleasure team for my choice of music everyone seemed to enjoy it and a good time was had by all. Hopefully next week I'll be back with my regular co-host Jenny and a whole bunch of cheesy songs to give you some mid-week weekend fun.

Firebrand Radio have proper girlie DJ's. Thanks for giving us a little clicky and staying to read a little.

For those who don't know me I'm Sarah and I'm also married to Firebrands very own Big Dave. We here at Firebrand are relatively new to the radio scene. We launched the 1st of September with just one aim in mind Music Liberation! All our DJs have a unique style, mine is that we play anything! If a song makes you feel good and dance along then why not Crank the volume up and dad dance round the room. I can't wait for the weekend and after Wednesdays show neither will you!

Bad news bears

On the eve of the launch of Countdown to the Weekend Jenny, the hot and sexy co-presenter, has been struck down by a sore throat so won't be able to attend. Was this something in the tea that the boys at Aural Pleasure made her drink hours before launch quietly confident that they had found a way to throw a spanner in the works? Who knows. All we know is that I am pooing my pants about doing my first show solo and hope that I can present a show that is worthy of you, dear listeners.
